I have respect for Abhi Nandan and must be a good pilot. Men behind the gun or machine are equally important. PAF pilots are second to none and the differentiating factor in these or any other exercise or real missions. PDF F-16 Block 52 shot down Indian SU-30 MKI in February 2019 due to the combination of a good machine and a good man behind the machine. That is the reason china developed more confidence in Pakistan and offered its 5th generation J-31 to Pakistan. I am sure the Chinese will be proud of Pakistani pilots using the J-10 C and make it famous and superior in the entire world.

yeah, if the typhoon didn't start all the exercises in a very disadvantageous position it's hard to imagine it losing 9-0 given the in bfm the typhoon has many advantages over the j10 (better thrust to weight by a large margin, lower wing loading etc.) bvr is a lot harder to say but i honestly doubt what those people are saying is all true.

TBVH, Turkey spent 23billion$ for 40 new F-16 and 79 F-16 upgradation whereas Greece bought 40 F35 WITH 8.1Billion$. i don't see Turkey's deal to be very effective

If you buy one F16 and can buy four J10Cs with similar combat power, how would you choose (the actual combat power of F16 may not be stronger than J10C, taking care of your emotions, so J10C combat power is equal to three-quarters of F16)? More importantly, China has around 600 J10 fighter jets. If there is a war, China can provide Pakistan with at least 200-300 active J10C aircraft within a month without considering payment, which is a terrifying replenishment capability.

I know this for a fact that during one of the Anatolian exercises the Pakistani F16s won out on another nations state of the art Eurofighters during dogfights. During another multi national event in the UAE the French 'umpire' especially reached the Pakistani side with "you guys are killing machines" message. They had sported their oldest (upgrades) fleet against some of the world's most modern arsenal. So I think news like these where the PAF won't open up on hold water. their block JFs outperformed Qatari Rafale few years ago, but again, the Paksis never open up on their achievements. I am highly skeptical. Under what scenarios did the engagements in this exercise take place? For example, was it beyond visual range or within visual range? All aircrafts have their weak and strong points. There will be scenarios where a Typhoon with its weapons package will excel over a J10, and at the same time there will be scenarios where a J10 with its weapon system can out perform a Typhoon. A good pilot understands the capabilites of his aircraft and will then try to utilize the strong points of his aircraft to gain an advantage over his adversary in an engagement. The pilot who can best utilize the strong points of his aircraft will be the victor. Unless the rules of engagement in this execise is known it would be next to impossible to come to any conclusion.

Indian Rafaels are state of the Art and very formidable. J10C has definitely improved. For ever 2 Rafaels, PAF will need to deploy 3 J10Cs. Thyphoon and F16 block 72, both are junk.
That's a Pakistan airforce's achievement. China is developing equipments for air war system advantage, and on that just the US Airforce is China's goal to catch up. Europeans isn't much.
Until 2020 J-10 were equipped with very old USSR engines. It's very doubtful that chinese invented or drastically improved their new engines after 3 years. Chinese don't have an advanced superior technology. On average their jets will be costly and less effective than eastern ones.

Qatar directly hires British and American fighter pilots as squadron captains and is responsible for serving as instructors. These pilots generally have 3000 hours of flight time. And it is normal to hire a large number of Pakistani pilots in Arab countries. Qatar has money. The two biggest issues this time are the J10C radar and missile leadership, and Pakistani pilots are likely very familiar with the basic performance of typhoons.

The biggest problem for J10 or any Chinese planes is the poor quality WS series Chinese engines. They are smoky and failure prone. We saw this in the IAF-PAF skirmish where the PAF had to use F16s to drop some irrelevant ordinance as a face saving mechanism. They were not confident of using JF17 even for face saving. I am pretty positive time-tested western fighters will swat Chinese fighters out of the sky in real battles.

More importantly, China has around 600 J10 fighter jets. If there is a war, China can provide Pakistan with at least 200-300 active J10C aircraft within a month without considering payment, which is a terrifying replenishment capability.

@@alexs.4340 just STFU, Qatar purchased 24 Eurofighters back in 2018, half of that are pending to be delivered and assembled in Qatar this year. At the mean time Qatar is trying all her best to reject the remaining Eurofighter delivery, due to the signed contract, they may loose lots of money, but they are considering it since after the contract penalty, buying Chinese J-10 is cheaper and better than Eurofighter. It's not like everyone on the internet is not with a brain, arms contract is a big thing in international politics, it's easy to confirm what has been signed and what hasn't.

I know this for a fact that during one of the Anatolian exercises the Pakistani F16s won out on another nations state of the art Eurofighters during dogfights. During another multi national event in the UAE the French 'umpire' especially reached the Pakistani side with "you guys are killing machines" message. They had sported their oldest (upgrades) fleet against some of the world's most modern arsenal. So I think news like these where the PAF won't open up on hold water. their block JFs outperformed Qatari Rafale few years ago, but again, the Paksis never open up on their achievements. They are kept as surprises.
The only canard plane that I acknowledge is the J-10s. All the other canard planes are ugly.
Pakistani pilots also destroyed American Aircraft Carriers in exercise. Russia said they can conquer world if they have Pakistani Military.

I am highly skeptical. Under what scenarios did the engagements in this exercise take place? For example, was it beyond visual range or within visual range? All aircrafts have their weak and strong points. There will be scenarios where a Typhoon with its weapons package will excel over a J10, and at the same time there will be scenarios where a J10 with its weapon system can out perform a Typhoon. A good pilot understands the capabilites of his aircraft and will then try to utilize the strong points of his aircraft to gain an advantage over his adversary in an engagement. The pilot who can best utilize the strong points of his aircraft will be the victor. Unless the rules of engagement in this execise is known it would be next to impossible to come to any conclusion.

That's a Pakistan airforce's achievement. China is developing equipments for air war system advantage, and on that just the US Airforce is China's goal to catch up. Europeans isn't much.
Until 2020 J-10 were equipped with very old USSR engines. It's very doubtful that chinese invented or drastically improved their new engines after 3 years.
Chinese don't have an advanced superior technology. On average their jets will be costly and less effective than eastern ones.

Qatar directly hires British and American fighter pilots as squadron captains and is responsible for serving as instructors. These pilots generally have 3000 hours of flight time. And it is normal to hire a large number of Pakistani pilots in Arab countries. Qatar has money. The two biggest issues this time are the J10C radar and missile leadership, and Pakistani pilots are likely very familiar with the basic performance of typhoons.

First - it's a blogger's opinion, second - the skills of the pilots are not taken into account.
The biggest problem for J10 or any Chinese planes is the poor quality WS series Chinese engines. They are smoky and failure prone. We saw this in the IAF-PAF skirmish where the PAF had to use F16s to drop some irrelevant ordinance as a face saving mechanism. They were not confident of using JF17 even for face saving. I am pretty positive time-tested western fighters will swat Chinese fighters out of the sky in real battles.

PAF had no objectives and did not even cross the LoC while the IAF struck deep inside Pakistan. One MiG from the Indian side was all it took for the whole PAF squadron to flee to their base.

Realistically speaking... fighter jets these days especially the 4th Gen, 4.5th Gen & 5th Gen are designed to combat in BVR engagements and gone are the days when a dog fight is required unless ofcourse you are out of ammunation and the situation happens to be do or die.
This then comes to a number of factors as always.... The jet ofcourse, The pilot who is flying it and the missiles it can carry.... Meteor and PL-15 are both deadly weapons..
